The annual Marshall Academy Grandparents Day was held on Monday, April 24. Students in grades Pre-K – 6th Grade had a little program for their grandparents in the gym. After the program the grandparents enjoyed time in the classrooms and also had refreshments on the front lawn.
The 3rd Grade had a great time learning to tie dye t-shirts with Ms.Aimee Heinrich last week. They enjoyed learning the special techniques of tie dying and how to make great designs.
The 2nd & 3rd Grade students had fun dyeing Easter Eggs on Thursday, April 13. Mrs Amy Andrews, from New Albany, came to help the students create their masterpieces. This has become a great tradition for the students.
Each spring the Marshall Academy 3rd Grade students hatch baby chickens. The purpose of the activity is to help students understand the importance of carefully observing and caring for eggs and chickens in the classroom.
