Mr. Lemon Phelps, and several other special guests, from the Marshall County Extension Service came to visit the 3rd Grade Class at MA. Mr. Phelps spoke with the students about Arbor Day and Tree Planting Week. The students learned about the best time for planting trees, and each received a pine seedling to take home. Mr. Phelps encouraged the students to plant the pine seedling during this “Tree Planting Week”.
