The 5th, 7th, and 8th Grade Students from Marshall Academy traveled to Fulton, MS on Wednesday, December 2 to visit the replicas of Columbus’ ships, the “Pinta” and the “Nina”. Both ships are touring together as an enhanced “sailing museum”, for the purpose of educating the public and school children on the caravel, a Portuguese ship used by Columbus and many early explorers to discover the world. The students and teachers received a guided tour with a crew member to learn more about the ships.
