Anchor-Pilot Dinner

The Marshall Anchor Club enjoyed a salad dinner hosted by the Holly Springs Pilot Club on Monday, March 8th.  Members and their mothers were invited to the "Anchor Salute" hosted at the Episcopal Parish House In Holly Springs.  Members attending included Kelsey Shaw, Claire Liddy, Sarah Poteet, Chrissy Farris, Emily Burk, Emma Elgin, Katherine Farese, Brittany Stewart, Mallary Covington, and sponsor, Dwana McAlexander.

T-shirts are being sold by the senior class for this year's Crossroads Blues Club Prom.  Shirts are $15.  See a senior or print a form from Ms. Miller's blog and return to the school.

Pray like Ms. Faye

The Pray like Faye t-shirt design is centered around a favorite bible verse of Ms. Faye Sanders, Joshua 1:9 - "Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go".  Ms. Faye is a strong representation of these words and we here at MA love Ms. Faye and thank her for years of support.

The Marshall Academy Junior Class has created a wonderful t-shirt design to honor Ms. Faye Sanders a long-time patron of MA and prayer warrior for the community.  The Junior Class is selling the t-shirts for $15 and all proceeds from the sell will be donated to a charity of Ms. Faye's choosing. 

Congratulations to our District Spelling Bee Winners!

Marshall Academy students had a great showing at the District Spelling Bee in Oxford, Mississippi, and will travel to Jackson in April to participate in the State Bee.  Winners were:  (8th Grade, Reagan Elliott - 1st Place) (7th Grade, Kevin Harris - 2nd Place) (6th Grade, Dylan Simpson - 2nd Place) (5th Grade, Grant Poteet - Alternate) (4th Grade, Abby Sanders - 3rd Place)
