We have started this 3rd quarter with a color lesson..High school students first created a color wheel showing tints and shades of all primary and secondary colors..The students were given the 3 primary colors using acrylic paint to which they made their secondary colors and then the tertiary colors.. Our next lesson is on learning to mix colors to create a chosen value using one color which they will add black and white to.. I will post pictures in the near future..

Elementary has also been working with watercolors..

 1st grade painted giraffe and also Rainbow Fish

2nd grade painting turrtle in under water scene

3rd splatter painted contruction paper to which they will draw then cut out frogs and dragon flies at a pond

4th grade painting birds to which they will add detail by using colored chalk and different colored contruction paper shapes

5th grade painting rain forest..Drawing bird with leaves and flowers..

6th painted negative and positive picture using black only.
