About our headmaster

Jane Hubbard began as Headmaster at Marshall Academy in 2006. She came to Marshall from Simpson Academy, where she served as Headmaster for 8 years. She has 28 years experience in education as both a teacher and administrator. She received her B.A. in Elementary Education from Ole Miss, her Master of Education Degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi University for Women, and her Educational Specialist Degree in School Administration from Mississippi State University.
Ms. Hubbard has served on the MPSA Athletic Activities Commission, MPSA Accrediting Commission and presently serves on the MAIS Executive Committee. She is active in both church and community activities, and is an avid sports fan. She is married to Walter (Bubba) Hubbard and they have three children, Drew, Jill and Kate. They also have one granddaughter, Maggi.
